The Church

The John Barry Division of AOH - Washington D.C., partners with St. Patrick's Parish, 619 10th Street NW, Washington D.C.

St. Patrick's is the oldest Parish in Washington D.C., founded in 1794 to serve the Irish Catholic stonemasons working to build the White House and the Capitol Building.

St. Patrick's Pastor is the Reverend Msgr. Peter J. Vaghi. John Barry Division Members volunteer as ushers for the Annual St. Patrick's Day Mass and other Irish Catholic events.

Members of the John Barry Division are parishioners at a wide variety of parishes in the Archdiocese of Washington. Among the Division's traditional activities, is the annual Cardinal's Dinner, open to all AOH Divisions in Washington D.C. and their spouses.
